About Dr. Karishma Tendulkar

Dr. Karishma Tendulkar is a vitreo-retina surgeon, Uvea and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) specialist and the Founder & Director of NAMAH Superspeciality Eye Care, Pune. Her clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and management of retinal and uveal disorders, including diabetic retinal diseases, retinal detachment, uveitis and other sight threatening retinal and choroidal diseases that require timely care. 

She has completed advanced fellowship training in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery, Uvea and Retinopathy of Prematurity at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. Her areas of expertise include vitrectomy and allied procedures, scleral buckling, pneumatic retinopexy, retinal laser procedures, intravitreal injections, Secondary IOL implantation, and ROP screening and laser treatment for premature infants.

At NAMAH, her approach combines careful clinical examination, imaging-based diagnosis, evidence-led decision-making and clear counselling. She believes that retinal care is not only about treating disease, but also about timely follow-up, patient education and protecting vision before damage becomes irreversible.
